Halloween is a fun time of the month, which could be made even MORE fun by filling it with exciting and spooky projects. As an addition to my costume, (on which I have not yet decided) I decided to make a project that I’ve seen floating around for a little while – an animated eye on a display.
The code that I used was open source, as it would take a while for me to transfer such a fluid animation into code. The elements used in the project are listed as follows:
- ESP 32 controller
- 1.28”TFT GCA01 Display (as seen in the title of the post)
- wires
- breadboard (temporarily)
Even though the source where I got this project had clear instructions, I had to alter the pins with which I connected the display and the controller. Below is my table with colors of rows corresponding to the wire color.
